Government Affairs and Regulatory Compliance Lead the end-to-end process of obtaining and maintaining commercial UAV flight permits and operational licenses in Saudi Arabia, including coordination with GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation)and relevant municipal authorities. Develop and execute government engagement strategies to secure regulatory approvals required for commercial drone logistics operations. Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with local aviation laws and Saudiization (Nitaqat) requirements. Maintain proactive relationships with government stakeholders to facilitate licensing renewals, policy engagement, and regulatory risk management. 2. Market Development and Strategy Identify and pursue new business opportunities to establish UAV logistics networks. Develop strategies to engage target industries such as F&B, healthcare, real estate, and education as part of the drone logistics ecosystem. 3. Client Engagement and Negotiation Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including supply providers (e.g., restaurants and hospitals) and infrastructure partners (e.g., real estate developers and universities). Negotiate programs, contracts and agreements to secure partnerships for UAV logistics services, such as leasing landing zones and supply hubs. 4. Project Enablement Collaborate with internal teams to translate customer requirements into viable operational plans. Support clients in understanding drone logistics solutions' value and implementation requirements. 5. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with technical, regulatory, and operational teams to align business goals with operational capabilities. Provide market insights to inform product development and regulatory planning. 6. External Representation and Communication Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and outside partners. Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management and business partners. Attend relevant industry events and government forums as authorized by management to enhance the company's brand presence.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field, preferably within the aviation, logistics, or technology sectors, with a strong track record in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks, particularly in aviation or UAV operations. Familiarity with key policy issues affecting the industry.Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and verbal). Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Proven project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to build and maintain high-level relationships with government officials. Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or aviation-related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
