Manager to lead government engagement, regulatory coordination, licensing, permits, compliance support, and institutional relationships across the UAE.The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between the organization and relevant federal and emirate-level government entities, ensuring that business activities remain compliant with applicable requirements and that government-related processes are handled efficiently.This role is ideal for professionals with experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, PRO services, licensing, permits, immigration, labor relations, or government stakeholder management.🚀 What You'll DoDevelop and implement government-relations strategies aligned with organizational objectivesBuild and maintain strong professional relationships with federal, emirate-level, and local government authoritiesAct as the primary point of contact between the organization and relevant government entitiesCoordinate government approvals, licenses, permits, registrations, renewals, and regulatory submissionsMonitor changes in UAE laws, regulations, policies, government procedures, and administrative requirementsAssess the potential impact of regulatory and policy changes on business operationsProvide management with timely updates and recommendations regarding government and regulatory developmentsCoordinate with relevant authorities on business licenses, commercial registrations, permits, certifications, and operational approvalsManage relationships with ministries, municipalities, economic departments, free-zone authorities, immigration authorities, labor authorities, and other relevant government bodiesSupport employment-related government processes, including work permits, visas, labor documentation, and employee-related government requirementsCoordinate immigration and residency processes for employees and eligible dependents where applicableEnsure timely renewal of company licenses, permits, registrations, and government documentationMaintain accurate records of government applications, approvals, correspondence, certificates, and regulatory documentationManage the organization's PRO and government-services activities where applicableCoordinate with legal, HR, finance, compliance, operations, procurement, and business teams on government-related mattersSupport company formation, branch registration, business expansion, and new-entity setup activitiesFacilitate government inspections, audits, site visits, and regulatory reviewsEnsure appropriate preparation for government inspections and respond to official requestsDevelop processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and tracking of government-related activitiesManage government-relations vendors, PRO service providers, consultants, and external representativesNegotiate service arrangements and monitor external government-services providersSupport government tenders, registrations, certifications, and public-sector business opportunities where applicableIdentify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaboration with government institutionsRepresent the organization at government meetings, industry forums, regulatory workshops, and institutional eventsPrepare government-relations reports, regulatory updates, dashboards, risk assessments, and executive briefingsMaintain a government stakeholder map and engagement planIdentify potential regulatory, licensing, operational, and reputational risks associated with government requirementsDevelop contingency plans for critical regulatory or government-process issuesEnsure all government interactions are conducted professionally, ethically, and in accordance with company improvement in government-services processes, regulatory coordination, and stakeholder engagement✅ What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Communications, or a related field5–10+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, PRO services, or a related fieldProven experience managing relationships with UAE government authoritiesStrong knowledge of UAE government procedures, licensing, permits, registrations, immigration, and employment-related processesStrong understanding of federal and emirate-level government structuresExcellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skillsStrong ability to manage sensitive matters and maintain confidentialityExperience coordinating multiple government processes and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong understanding of the UAE regulatory and government environment is essential🌟 Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree or MBA in Business Administration, Public Policy, Law, Government Relations, International Relations, or a related disciplineProfessional certifications in government relations, compliance, public affairs, HR, or business administrationStrong knowledge of UAE government platforms and digital servicesExperience working with entities such as Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP), Department of Economy and Tourism, municipalities, free-zone authorities, and other relevant government bodiesExperience managing mainland and free-zone business registrations and licensingExperience supporting company formation, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or market expansionKnowledge of UAE labor, immigration, commercial, licensing, and regulatory requirementsPrevious experience working across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, or other UAE emirates is an advantageExperience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, aviation, telecommunications, energy, construction, logistics, or
