Help us advance ADHD care for children.Service launching in October 2026.ADHDX is a CQC-registered children's neurodevelopmental service delivering high-quality ADHD assessments through a modern, GP-led approach.Our mission is to reduce waiting times and deliver comprehensive, child-centred assessments in partnership with families, schools, and the NHS.We seek motivated GPs with an interest or experience in ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions to join our growing clinical team.If you have experience assessing ADHD or have completed relevant training and wish to develop a specialist portfolio career, we invite you to apply.About the roleYou will conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments for children aged 6 to 12 as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.Depending on your location, you may provide:Virtual assessments from homeFace-to-face assessments at our Central London clinicCommunity-based assessments in local schools across North London, especially for clinicians based in the area.Our assessment model combines thorough clinical evaluation, collaboration with schools, and consultant-supported multidisciplinary decision-making.We are seeking doctors with the following qualifications:EssentialGMC registration with licence to practiseGP on the Performers ListExcellent communication skillsClinical interest in ADHD and autismThe British Association of Neurodiversity (BAND) Neurodiversity AIDS course (or equivalent)DesirableExperience assessing children with ADHD or AutismPrevious Paediatric and/or Psychiatry rotations or trainingExperience working with children and families We welcome applicants who show a genuine commitment to developing expertise in ADHD, even if they have limited prior assessment experience.What we offerFlexible sessional opportunitiesRemote and in-person rolesSchool-based assessments across North LondonComprehensive induction programmeStructured clinical supervisionOngoing education and CPDClear governance and safeguarding supportAI-assisted documentation to reduce administrative workloadOpportunity to help shape a new service from its inception in October 2026.Why ADHDX?We are creating a new model of ADHD service.Our clinicians receive the time, support, and governance required to deliver comprehensive assessments in close collaboration with schools and families.
