The Grader Operator will operate and control motor graders to level and shape surfaces for roadways, foundations, and other construction projects. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment before use, performing minor routine maintenance, and reporting mechanical issues. The role involves reading and following site plans and supervisors’ instructions, adjusting blade angles and depths for precise grading, and coordinating with other equipment operators and site personnel to maintain safe and efficient operations. The Grader Operator must follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and assist with related earthwork duties as needed.Qualifications Proven ability to safely operate motor graders and other heavy construction equipment.Experience working on road construction, earthworks, or infrastructure projects.Knowledge of basic equipment inspection, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.Ability to read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors.Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a site team.Previous experience as a grader operator or similar role; vocational training or certification in heavy equipment operation is an advantage.Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project schedules.
