We are developing a multidisciplinary deep-tech product that brings together mechanical engineering, airflow and filtration, electronics, sensing, firmware, industrial design, data, AI, manufacturing, and real-world deployment. We are looking for a Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) – Project Management who wants to build a career at the intersection of technology, engineering execution, product development, and business operations. This is not a conventional coordination-only project management role. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, vendors, and leadership to help convert ambitious product goals into structured plans, measurable milestones, and executed outcomes. What You Will DoProject Planning & ExecutionSupport end-to-end planning and execution of AEREKA's product development programs.Convert product and engineering goals into clear milestones, deliverables, timelines, owners, and review checkpoints.Track multiple engineering workstreams and ensure activities remain aligned with overall product milestones.Identify schedule risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and execution gaps before they become delays.Drive follow-ups and closure of critical action items across teams.Cross-Functional Engineering CoordinationWork closely with mechanical, electronics, firmware, testing, product design, AI/software, procurement, manufacturing, and other functions.Understand dependencies between different engineering workstreams and ensure teams receive the inputs they need at the right time.Act as an execution bridge between engineering teams, project leadership, vendors, and management.Support integration planning as individual subsystems move toward complete prototypes. You are not expected to be the technical expert in every discipline—but you are expected to understand the problem well enough to ask intelligent questions, identify dependencies, and drive execution.Project Monitoring & Management ReportingMaintain project plans, milestone trackers, action trackers, risk registers, and execution dashboards.Track planned versus actual progress and identify schedule deviations.Prepare concise daily, weekly, and milestone-level management updates.Distinguish between activity and actual deliverable completion.Ensure project reviews are supported by evidence, clear ownership, and measurable next actions.Escalate critical blockers and decision requirements with clarity.Meetings, Decisions & Action ClosureParticipate in engineering, product, and management review meetings.Capture decisions, unresolved issues, dependencies, risks, and owner-wise action items.Ensure important discussions are converted into executable next steps.Track actions through closure rather than allowing them to disappear after meetings.Help maintain visibility on pending decisions that could affect engineering timelines.Risk & Dependency ManagementProactively identify technical, procurement, resource, integration, and schedule risks.Track cross-functional dependencies and understand their downstream impact.Support teams in resolving blockers quickly.Maintain visibility on critical-path activities and highlight potential timeline slips early.Product Development & OperationsGain exposure to the complete journey of building a deep-tech hardware product—from concept and engineering validation to prototypes, testing, manufacturing, and deployment.Support prototype planning, procurement coordination, testing activities, vendor interactions, and build readiness.Help improve engineering execution systems, workflows, documentation practices, and review processes.Support the creation of scalable operating processes as AEREKA grows.Vendor & External Partner CoordinationCoordinate with suppliers, fabricators, manufacturers, testing partners, consultants, and service providers.Track quotations, procurement dependencies, fabrication timelines, deliveries, and external commitments.Highlight vendor-related risks that could affect project schedules.AI-First Project ManagementWe expect this role to use AI as an everyday productivity and execution tool. You will use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and automation platforms to:accelerate project planning and documentation;convert meetings into structured decisions and action items;analyze project updates and identify execution risks;automate repetitive reporting and tracking activities;improve research and information synthesis;create management dashboards and decision-support systems;improve personal and team productivity. We value people who can use AI to improve the quality and speed of thinking and execution, not simply generate documents.Who Should ApplyEducational BackgroundPreferred profile:MBA / PGDM in Operations, Project Management, Strategy, General Management, Technology Management, or a related field; andBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as:Mechanical EngineeringMechatronicsElectronics & Communication EngineeringElectrical EngineeringInstrumentationRobotics & AutomationIndustrial / Manufacturing Engineeringor another relevant engineering discipline.Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome to apply.Exceptional candidates with a strong engineering background, excellent execution ability, and demonstrated interest in project/product management may also be considered. What We Look ForStructured ThinkingYou can take an ambiguous problem and convert it into clear tasks, priorities, owners, dependencies, and outcomes.OwnershipYou do not stop at "I followed up." You care about whether the required outcome was actually achieved.Technical CuriosityYou enjoy understanding how products work and are comfortable interacting with multidisciplinary engineering teams.Analytical AbilityYou are comfortable working with project data, schedules, metrics, spreadsheets, dashboards, and structured analysis.CommunicationYou can communicate clearly with engineers, managers, vendors, and leadership—and can summarize complex situations without unnecessary noise.Attention to DetailYou can manage multiple moving parts without losing critical commitments, dependencies, or decisions.Bias for ActionYou identify what needs to happen next and actively drive it rather than waiting for repeated instructions.Learning AgilityYou can quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, engineering terminology, tools, and workflows.AI-First MindsetYou actively experiment with AI and automation tools to improve your own productivity and the productivity of the teams around you. What You Will LearnAt AEREKA, you will get direct exposure to:Deep-tech product developmentHardware and multidisciplinary engineering programsPrototype development and validationProject and program managementProduct strategy and executionManufacturing and vendor ecosystemsTesting and engineering validationCross-functional leadershipAI-enabled project managementFounder and leadership-level decision makingTaking a technology product from concept toward real-world deploymentThis role is designed for someone who wants to develop into a high-ownership Project Manager, Program Manager, Product Operations leader, or technology business leader rather than remain limited to administrative project coordination. The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive HereYou will enjoy this role if you:are deeply curious about technology and physical products;like bringing structure to complex situations;enjoy working with engineers but also understand business priorities;naturally follow problems through until they are closed;are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is predefined;can challenge unclear updates and ask good questions;learn quickly and take responsibility early;want a steep learning curve rather than a narrowly defined graduate role.AEREKA is building a product from the ground up. That means you will encounter ambiguity, changing priorities, engineering failures, difficult trade-offs, and demanding execution timelines. For the right person, that is exactly what makes the opportunity valuable.ApplyApply through LinkedIn or send your resume to sushil@aereka.com with the subject line:Application – Graduate Management Trainee (Project Management) – AEREKA
