Graduate Projects EngineerAre you a recent Engineering graduate looking to build a career in project engineering?Our client is looking for a Graduate Projects Engineer to join their team and gain hands-on experience across HVAC, Process Cooling and engineering projects. This is a structured development role, giving you the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while building your technical, commercial and project management skills.You’ll be involved in projects from the early stages through to installation and commissioning, gaining exposure to customers, suppliers, subcontractors, sales teams and site engineers along the way.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting the planning and delivery of HVAC and Process Cooling projectsAssisting with quotations, costings, procurement and project documentationJoining site visits to understand project requirements and gather technical informationCoordinating equipment, materials and subcontractors to support project deadlinesWorking with customers, suppliers, Sales Engineers and internal teamsSupporting project handovers, planning and progress updatesHelping identify technical issues, project risks and required resourcesAssisting with project budgets, cost tracking and financial reportingSupporting installation and commissioning activities on customer sitesDeveloping your understanding of engineering design, project delivery and commercial processesWhat They’re Looking For:A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related disciplineA genuine interest in HVAC, Process Cooling or Project EngineeringStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsGood attention to detail and a willingness to learnConfident using Microsoft Office; CAD experience would be beneficialFull UK driving licenceWhat’s On Offer:25 day holiday + bank holidays + purchase additional holidayFantastic career progression opportunitiesPrivate medicalLife insuranceEnhanced pensionNote: Due to the nature of the role, candidates must reside in the UK living within a commutable distance of Southampton.
