The university has a rich legacy of academic excellence and is committed to advancing education, research, and innovation in Malaysia and beyond.Role DescriptionThe Graduate Research Assistant will undertake a variety of research-related activities, including literature review, experimental design, data collection, and data analysis. The role also involves assisting in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications. The individual will be expected to collaborate with faculty members and other researchers to support ongoing projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.QualificationsBachelor's Degree / Master's Degree (preferably Physics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/equivalent)There is no minimum CGPA requirement.The minimum duration of research is 12 months for Master and 24 months for PhD.Willing to learn new skills, hardworking, and proactive.Proper training and guidance will be given by the supervisors and senior students.Candidates must register for FULL TIME Master / PhD program with Universiti Malaya upon appointment.Highly interested in fiber optics technology (fiber lasers, fiber sensors, waveguides).Bachelor's degree holders with a CGPA above 3.70 are most welcome to apply for the PhD program directly
