FHLE offers opportunities for emerging researchers to engage with impactful projects that bridge academic insight and real-world social change.Role Description The Graduate Research Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The individual in this position will support FHLE’s research projects by conducting literature reviews, collecting and organizing data, and assisting in the design and implementation of studies related to health, education, and skill development. Daily responsibilities include supporting field and laboratory-based research activities where applicable, performing data entry and basic analysis, and preparing research summaries, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with senior researchers and program teams, contributing to Think Tank initiatives, and helping translate research findings into actionable recommendations. The Graduate Research Assistant is expected to maintain accurate documentation, follow ethical research standards, and actively participate in team meetings and project reviews.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to design studies, review literature, and critically interpret findings.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for reports, presentations, and collaborative work.Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills where relevant to project needs, including adherence to safety and ethical standards.Candidates should possess proficiency in Data Analysis, including use of basic statistical methods and common data or statistical software tools.Relevant postgraduate enrollment or degree in public health, social sciences, education, economics, or a related field.Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.Demonstrated interest in health advocacy, education, or social development, preferably within the Indian context.Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices.
