Graduate Software Developer

We're hiring a Graduate Software Developer to join our small engineering team and work across our suite of desktop applications. You'll be working on interesting problems from day one, contributing to feature architecture and design, not just implementation, across 3D geometry, path planning, robot control, and predictive process modelling.At WAAM3D we create WAAM systems that sit at the frontier of metal additive manufacturing, combining hardware, robotics, and software into a single turnkey solution.What you'll be working on

• Building new features, improving performance, and fixing bugs across our software products.
• Contributing to the architecture and design of new features alongside the engineering team
• Working with 3D geometry, simulation, and path planning algorithms
• Developing and improving AI-driven predictive process models
• Working with sensor integration and real-time data from the manufacturing process
• Integrating with industrial robot controllers
• Collaborating closely with engineers, researchers, and product stakeholders across the businessWhat we're looking for
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or something similar
• Solid fundamentals in software design, including SOLID principles and writing clean, maintainable code
• A good attitude toward testing and documentation — you understand that code is not done until it is tested and explained
• Some experience with C# or another statically typed language (C++, Java, etc.)
• An interest in or exposure to machine learning or data-driven modelling
• Curiosity about manufacturing, robotics, or CAD/CAM
