Speech & Language Graduate - SEND & SEMH SchoolsLocation: BuryContract: Full-time / Part-timeStart Date: September 2026 / ASAPSalary: £107.71–£111.85 per dayWe are looking for Speech & Language Therapy graduates and graduates with relevant speech, language and communication experience to join a range of SEND and SEMH schools across Bury.You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including speech and language difficulties, autism, communication needs, SEMH and behavioural needs.Your responsibilities may include:Supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needsDelivering targeted interventions and structured activitiesSupporting pupils' communication, confidence and social skillsBuilding positive relationships with pupils and encouraging engagementSupporting classroom learning and individual learning plansHelping pupils develop their social, emotional and behavioural skillsWorking as part of a wider SEND support teamWe are particularly interested in graduates with:A Speech & Language Therapy / Speech and Language Sciences degreeExperience working with children or young peopleExperience supporting SEND, SEMH or communication needsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA patient, calm and child-centred approachA genuine interest in developing a career within SEND educationRelevant graduates from Psychology, Education, Linguistics, Childhood Studies or similar backgrounds may also be considered where they have relevant experience.
