Enlace also offers educational tours and experiential learning activities that expose students to new cultures, industries, and technologies, fostering curiosity, creativity, and global awareness.Role Description The GRE Tutor is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra. The tutor will deliver structured GRE preparation instruction, including quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and analytical writing, using curriculum materials and practice tests. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, teaching group classes and one-on-one sessions, assessing student performance, and providing targeted feedback and study strategies. The tutor will track student progress, prepare reports for internal use and for families, and collaborate with program coordinators to align instruction with Enlace’s mentorship and academic support framework. Additional duties may include creating or adapting learning resources, participating in orientation sessions, and supporting educational events or workshops related to test preparation and academic readiness.Qualifications Strong GRE domain knowledge, with high proficiency in quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and analytical writing.Demonstrated teaching, tutoring, or classroom instruction experience, ideally in standardized test preparation or higher education readiness.Ability to design lesson plans, adapt curriculum materials, and use practice tests and analytics to guide instruction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate diverse learners.Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students, schedules, and progress tracking efficiently.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field; advanced test scores on the GRE are an advantage.Comfort with using digital tools and learning platforms to support instruction, assignments, and student progress monitoring.Commitment to educational equity, mentorship, and creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment for all students.
