Manager to work directly with the CEO in building the organisation, developing leadership capability, launching new ventures and driving the successful execution of the Group's strategic objectives.We delivering measurable results. Role PurposeThe Group Business Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of MMC Group's strategic initiatives by ensuring the organisation has the right people, structure, processes and leadership capability to achieve its long-term objectives.Working closely with the CEO, the role translates strategy into execution, drives organisational development, oversees key business initiatives and supports operational excellence across all Group companies.The role will also support the evaluation, planning, establishment and scaling of new business ventures, ensuring they are appropriately structured, resourced and launched in line with the Group's strategic objectives.This is a highly visible position suited to an individual who enjoys building businesses, developing leadership teams and creating scalable organisations.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building businesses, developing high-performing teams, launching new ventures and helping founder-led organisations scale successfully. Key Responsibilities Business Operations Support the CEO in the execution of the Group's strategic priorities.Drive operational excellence across all Group companies.Monitor business performance, identify improvement opportunities and ensure strategic objectives are delivered.Identify operational risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.Develop and implement business processes, governance and operational standards.Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful execution.Support departmental workforce planning and monitor approved operating budgets relating to recruitment and strategic projects. Strategy & Organisational Development Support the CEO in developing and implementing the Group's strategic initiatives.Design organisational structures that support business growth.Identify capability gaps and recommend new functions, departments and leadership positions.Develop workforce and succession plans aligned with future business objectives.Recommend improvements to reporting structures, accountability and organisational effectiveness.Develop and maintain the Group's organisational roadmap, ensuring the organisational structure, leadership capability and resources evolve in line with the Company's strategic growth plans. Recruitment & Leadership Lead recruitment of management and leadership positions across MMC Group.Develop role profiles, salary benchmarks and recruitment strategies.Screen, assess and interview candidates.Present recruitment recommendations to the CEO.Support onboarding and leadership development.Build high-performing management teams capable of supporting future growth. Strategic ProjectsLead and coordinate strategic projects across the Group, including:New business initiatives.Business expansion.Technology implementation.Process improvement.Business transformation.New service launches.Cross-company initiatives.Evaluation and development of new business opportunities, including market assessments, business cases, organisational design and implementation plans.Establishment of new business ventures, including organisational structure, recruitment, operational readiness and launch planning.Drive digital transformation and evaluate new technologies, automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency, scalability and customer experience across the Group.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with the Group's strategic objectives. Performance & Accountability Support department managers in achieving agreed objectives.Monitor departmental performance and implementation of strategic initiatives.Drive accountability and continuous improvement.Facilitate collaboration across Group companies.Ensure projects and priorities remain on track.Coordinate regular management meetings, monitor agreed actions and ensure accountability for delivery across all Group companies. Executive SupportWork closely with the CEO to:Translate ideas into practical implementation plans.Coordinate execution across multiple departments.Prepare business cases and recommendations.Conduct business analysis.Support strategic decision-making.Support the evaluation of new business opportunities through market research, commercial analysis and business planning.Prepare executive reports, dashboards and performance updates to support effective decision-making by the CEO.Ensure key priorities are delivered. Candidate Profile Experience Minimum 8–10 years' experience in business operations, organisational development or business transformation.Experience working within a growing SME or founder-led organisation.Proven experience building teams and organisational capability.Strong project management experience.Experience recruiting and developing management teams.Experience within a founder-led, high-growth SME or multi-business organisation is essential.Experience in automotive, mobility, logistics, technology or business services would be advantageous. Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a related discipline.MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable but not essential. Skills Strong strategic and commercial
