Group Chief Accountant

Location: Head Office, LimassolEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout George Tsanos GroupGeorge Tsanos Group Ltd is a leading hospitality group in Cyprus, operating a portfolio of hotels recognised for exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence and continuous growth.We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Chief Accountant to lead our finance function and oversee the Group's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Group CFO and CEO, this is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance across the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the Group's accounting and finance function.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management accounts and financial reports.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial analysis and variance reporting.Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, PAYE, Social Insurance and all statutory requirements.Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.Oversee payroll, supplier payments and daily financial controls across the Group.Supervise, mentor and develop the Accounts Team.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and internal controls.What We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role (hospitality experience will be considered an advantage).ACA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification will be considered an advantage.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll and Cyprus tax legislation.Experience with accounting software; knowledge of hotel PMS/POS systems will be considered an advantage.Excellent leadership, analytical and organisational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Very good command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.What We OfferSalary: €4,000–€5,000 gross per month, depending on qualifications and experience.Permanent full-time position.13th salary.Annual performance bonus.Provident Fund contribution.21 days annual leave.Complimentary meal during working hours.Supportive, collaborative and professional working environment.Ready to Join Our Team?Send your CV to hr@gtsanosgroup.com.cySubject: Group Chief Accountant – Your Full NameAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
