Group Chief Financial Officer

Role OverviewWe are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Group CFO with deep experience in the telecommunications sector, a proven track record in IPO execution.You will lead the Group’s financial strategy, capital markets activities, and operational finance functions, playing a critical role in scaling the business and delivering shareholder value.We will welcome applications from overseas providing you are willing to relocate to Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipPartner with the CEO and Board to define and execute the Group’s long-term financial strategyProvide strategic insight on growth initiatives, market expansion, and M&A opportunitiesAct as a key advisor on capital structure, funding strategy, and investor positioningIPO & Capital MarketsLead end-to-end IPO readiness and execution (governance, reporting, advisors, roadshow, listing)Manage relationships with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatorsOversee post-listing compliance, investor relations, and market communicationsFinancial ManagementFull ownership of Group financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reportingEnsure robust financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworksDrive performance management across all business units and geographiesTelecom Sector ExpertiseProvide financial oversight of telecom operations including CAPEX-intensive infrastructure, spectrum investments, and network rolloutMonitor key telecom KPIs (ARPU, churn, EBITDA margins, subscriber growth, etc.)Support commercial teams with pricing, bundling, and market competitiveness analysisOperational ExcellenceOptimize cost structures and improve profitability across the GroupLead digital transformation within finance (systems, automation, analytics)Build and develop a high-performing, internationally diverse finance teamStakeholder ManagementPresent financial performance and strategy to Board, investors, and external stakeholdersAct as a key interface with regulators across relevant jurisdictionsSupport corporate governance and ESG initiativesKey RequirementsExperience & QualificationsProven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a telecommunications or related infrastructure businessDemonstrated success in leading or playing a key role in an IPO (essential)Strong understanding of global capital markets, debt/equity financing, and investor relationsExperience managing multi-entity, multi-country financial operationsTechnical ExpertiseDeep knowledge of IFRS / international accounting standardsStrong financial modelling, valuation, and capital allocation skillsExperience with large-scale CAPEX planning and ROI analysisLanguage SkillsFluency in Tamil and English (spoken and written) — essentialLeadership & Personal AttributesStrategic thinker with strong commercial acumenHigh level of integrity, governance, and professionalismStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence at Board levelHands-on, results-oriented, and capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentPreferredExperience in emerging markets or high-growth telecom environmentsPrior exposure to private equity-backed or pre-IPO businessesInternational experience working across multiple jurisdictions
