Together they cover vision, group-level delivery and hands-on building.## The Role (revised)The Group CTO will be the *technology visionary of the group* and the person who makes that vision real. You will own group-level technology strategy and delivery across food tech, health and education, media and our philanthropic work. You will constantly look for new ways AI can change how each of these businesses operates, grows and serves people.This is a rare mix of three roles in one:- *Visionary:* spot AI opportunities before others do, and set a bold technology direction for every venture.- *Delivery owner:* manage group-level tech delivery end to end, including roadmaps, priorities, budgets, vendors and timelines.- *Hands-on builder:* prototype ideas yourself, prove them fast, then scale them with a lean team of 1–2 engineers and external partners.You will work directly with the Founder as a thinking partner and bring fresh ideas to the table, not just execute a brief.## Innovation Mandate: Reimagining Each Domain with AIYou will be expected to generate, test and champion ideas like these, and to find better ones:- *Food tech (Stoneman):* AI-driven flavour and product development from consumer trends, demand forecasting by outlet, smart distributor ordering, and AI-generated brand content and characters for social media.- *Health (MOHE hospitals):* AI-assisted triage and diagnostics support, voice-based patient records in Odia, telemedicine for rural patients, and predictive planning for beds, staff and medicines.- *Education (MOHE schools):* personalised AI tutors in local languages, early identification of students who are falling behind, and AI tools that reduce teachers' admin work.- *Media (news channel):* an AI-powered newsroom with instant transcription, translation and dubbing, auto-generated clips and shorts, and faster, more reliable fact-checking.- *Philanthropy:* AI to measure real impact, find the communities that need help most, and communicate outcomes transparently to donors and partners.- *Across the group:* one shared AI platform, so an idea proven in one business can be reused in all the others.## Group-Wide Responsibilities (addition)- *Group technology delivery:* own the portfolio of tech initiatives across all ventures. Set priorities, track progress, manage budgets and hold vendors accountable for outcomes.- *Innovation pipeline:* maintain a running pipeline of AI ideas for each business.
