Spartans emphasizes continuous improvement and provides a supportive space for beginners, experienced athletes, and families to train together with purpose and discipline.Role Description The Group Exercise Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. This role is responsible for leading dynamic group classes that may include martial arts-inspired workouts, strength and conditioning, functional fitness, and fat-loss sessions for diverse age groups and fitness levels. The coach plans and delivers safe, engaging, and goal-oriented training sessions, provides clear instruction and demonstrations, and adapts exercises for different abilities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring member progress, offering constructive feedback and motivation, maintaining a high-energy and inclusive training environment, and supporting gym events and community-building activities. The coach is also expected to uphold Spartans’ standards of discipline, professionalism, and customer service while collaborating with the team to improve programs and member experience.Qualifications Proven experience coaching or instructing group fitness, martial arts, or strength and conditioning classes.Strong skills in class planning, workout programming, and safe exercise technique instruction.Ability to motivate groups, communicate clearly, and adapt coaching style to different ages and fitness levels.Knowledge of basic anatomy, injury prevention, warm-up and cool-down protocols, and safe progression of training loads.Demonstrated commitment to discipline, punctuality, and maintaining a professional, inclusive training environment.Comfort working with kids, adults, and mixed-level groups, with a patient and supportive coaching approach.Fitness or coaching certifications (e.g., group exercise, personal training, martial arts coaching) are highly beneficial.First aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it within a defined timeframe.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on class schedules.Previous experience in a gym, dojo, or sports performance setting in the UAE or GCC region is a plus.
