Spartan Martial Arts & Fitness offers a range of kids and adults programs, including martial arts, fitness and fat loss, performance training, and self-defense.Role Description The Group Exercise Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. This role involves planning and leading safe, engaging group exercise classes that align with Spartans’ training philosophy and support participants of varying fitness levels. Responsibilities include demonstrating proper technique, providing clear instruction and modifications, monitoring participant performance, and ensuring classes are conducted in a motivating and inclusive environment. The instructor will collaborate with the coaching team to integrate martial arts-inspired conditioning and functional fitness into group sessions, assist with member onboarding, and contribute to community-building activities. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and organized training area, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and supporting special events, workshops, and promotional activities as needed.Qualifications Strong skills in Group Exercise and Group Exercise Instruction, with experience leading diverse classes.Proficiency in Fitness Instruction and Training, including designing safe and effective workout formats.Knowledge of Exercise Physiology to apply correct training principles and support participant safety.Relevant certifications in fitness, group exercise, or personal training from recognized organizations.Experience in martial arts, functional fitness, or strength and conditioning is highly beneficial.Ability to motivate and engage groups, with clear communication and inclusive coaching style.Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to creating a supportive, community-focused environment.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on class timetables.
