Apply & track with Apply EdgeA leading FMCG Manufacturing Group with operations across the Middle East, Europe and Africa, and a workforce of 500+ employees, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Group Finance Director to lead the Group’s finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the Group Finance function across multiple countries, individual companies and group entities, ensuring consistent financial policies, controls, reporting and governance standards.Lead and coordinate year-end audit finalization for individual companies and Group companies, ensuring timely completion of audits and resolution of audit findings.Manage Group financial consolidation, including consolidation of financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and preparation of consolidated Group financial reports.Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy, budgets, forecasts and business plans.Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and senior management to support business growth, investments and decision-making.Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance and risk management across all individual and Group companies.Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, cash flow, treasury, taxation and working capital management across the Group. Lead and oversee Group tax management and compliance, including corporate tax, VAT and other applicable direct and indirect taxes across relevant jurisdictions.Ensure timely and accurate tax registrations, tax returns, payments, reconciliations, assessments and statutory filings, while maintaining compliance with UAE and international tax regulations.Develop and implement appropriate tax planning and tax-risk management strategies to optimize the Group’s tax position while ensuring full regulatory compliance.Monitor business performance and provide meaningful financial analysis, KPIs and management reporting to the Board and senior management.Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning process for individual companies and the Group.Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, regulators, insurers and other financial institutions.Ensure compliance with applicable UAE and international accounting, taxation, corporate, regulatory and statutory requirements across all Group entities.Establish and monitor a robust Group compliance framework, ensuring timely statutory, regulatory, tax and financial reporting by all individual companies and Group entities.Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities and ensure timely closure of audit, tax and compliance observations.Drive improvements in finance processes, ERP systems, internal controls, tax processes, compliance systems, reporting and financial consolidation across the Group.Establish and maintain effective intercompany accounting, reconciliations, transfer pricing documentation and reporting procedures across Group entities.Support business expansion, investments, acquisitions, restructuring and other strategic initiatives, including financial due diligence, tax implications and financial evaluation.Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory financial statements, management accounts, tax returns and Group consolidated financial statements.Lead, develop and mentor the Group Finance team, ensuring effective coordination with finance teams across individual companies and Group entities.Candidate Profile15+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing or a multinational/group environment with strong exposure to UAE Market.Proven experience in a Group Finance Director / Finance Director / CFO role.Strong experience in multi-country operations, consolidation and international financial reporting.Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, budgeting, taxation, treasury and working capital management.Experience dealing with banks, auditors, investors and senior stakeholders.Strong commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial information into business decisions.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.Experience in the UAE/GCC and international markets will be an advantage.Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA with graduation or equivalent is preferred.Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation/digitalization will be an advantage.
