Group Finance ManagerCompany: Joga Ram Group of CompaniesLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Location: In PersonQualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – MandatoryExperience: 8+ years of UAE experience, with 3–5+ years in a finance management or leadership positionAbout Joga Ram Group of CompaniesJoga Ram Group of Companies is a diversified business group with operations across General Trading, Furniture Manufacturing, Interior Fit-Out, Real Estate, and Contracting.We are looking for an experienced Group Finance Manager to lead the finance function across multiple companies and business verticals within the Group.This is a senior-level role for a finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting expertise with commercial understanding, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in managing a multi-entity finance function.The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and senior management to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting, manage liquidity, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide meaningful financial insights for business decisions.Role OverviewThe Group Finance Manager will have overall responsibility for the financial management and reporting of multiple entities within the Group.The role will cover group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, taxation, audit, banking, internal controls, working capital, cost management, and finance-team leadership.Key Responsibilities1. Group Finance & Financial LeadershipLead and oversee the finance and accounting functions across multiple Group companies.Establish consistent accounting, reporting, and financial control practices across entities.Work closely with the Managing Director and senior management on financial and commercial decisions.Provide financial analysis and recommendations relating to business growth, investments, projects, and operational performance.Identify financial risks and opportunities across the Group.2. Financial Reporting & ConsolidationReview monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable IFRS requirements.Lead the month-end and year-end closing process across Group entities.Prepare and review consolidated financial reports and management accounts.Monitor general ledger, bank, intercompany, and balance-sheet reconciliations.Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information.3. Budgeting, Forecasting & MISLead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting across the Group.Prepare and monitor group-level cash-flow forecasts.Analyse budget versus actual performance and investigate significant variances.Develop management reports, financial dashboards, and KPIs for senior management.Provide actionable financial insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.4. Cash Flow, Working Capital & TreasuryMonitor Group-wide cash positions and working-capital requirements.Manage banking relationships and coordinate banking facilities.Handle and oversee requirements relating to LCs, TR facilities, bank guarantees, trade finance, and other banking instruments.Monitor customer collections, supplier payments, fund utilization, and liquidity.Develop strategies to improve cash conversion and working-capital efficiency.5. Accounts Receivable & PayableOversee receivables and payables across Group entities.Review aging reports and monitor collection performance.Establish effective follow-up and collection procedures.Review supplier payment schedules and ensure appropriate cash-flow planning.Monitor major customer and supplier balances.6. UAE Tax & Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with applicable UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.Review VAT returns, tax reconciliations, supporting schedules, and documentation.Coordinate with tax advisors and external consultants where required.Ensure timely compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.Keep management informed of relevant changes in UAE tax and financial regulations.7. Audit & Internal ControlsLead and coordinate external audits across Group entities.Work with auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audits.Strengthen internal financial controls, approval processes, and SOPs.Identify control weaknesses and implement corrective measures.Ensure adherence to Group financial policies and procedures.8. Inventory, Costing & Project FinanceOversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and valuation where applicable.Review manufacturing costs and product costing.Analyse project costs, margins, profitability, and financial performance.Support cost-control initiatives across manufacturing, contracting, and interior fit-out operations.Identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce unnecessary expenditure.9.
