Role Description The Group Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This position is responsible for overseeing group-level financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple entities. The role includes preparing monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and maintaining internal controls and governance. The Group Finance Manager will monitor cash flow, analyze financial performance, support audit processes, and provide timely insights to senior leadership. Day-to-day activities also involve coordinating with local finance teams, improving financial systems and procedures, supporting strategic projects, and contributing to long-term financial planning.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives and growth plans.Advise senior management on financial planning, investment decisions, and risk mitigation.Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, mergers, and investment opportunities.Establish long-term financial goals and strategies for capital structure, liquidity, and profitability.Financial Management & ReportingOversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.Monitor key financial metrics, analyze performance against budgets, and provide actionable insights to leadership.Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.Maintain and enhance internal financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost ControlLead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all business units.Review departmental budgets, monitor expenditure, and implement cost-control measures.Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives.Treasury & Risk ManagementOversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and corporate financing.Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.Monitor and mitigate financial risks including currency, interest rate, and operational risks.Leadership & Team ManagementLead and mentor the finance team, ensuring effective workflow, professional development, and high performance.Foster collaboration with other departments to integrate finance with operational planning.Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance function.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and corporate governance standards.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits, reviews, and filings.Maintain accurate records to support audit processes and internal reporting.Qualifications, Experience, Skills and RequirementsBachelor’s degree or master’s in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Professional accounting/finance qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent).MBA or master’s degree in finance/business administration is an advantage.10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Finance Director, Group Finance Manager, or Head of Finance).Experience in UAE or GCC markets preferred, with strong knowledge of local financial regulations, corporate tax, and VAT compliance.Proven track record in strategic financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Exposure to ERP systems and financial management tools (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) preferred.Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.Exceptional analytical, financial modelling, and strategic planning abilities.Bilingual - English & Arabic
