Group Financial Controller – PE-Backed Technology | London | Immediate startSalary: £120,000 – £130,000 + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsWe are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed technology business, seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function through a period of transformation and integration. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, fully qualified accountant to take ownership of group financial control, reporting, and operational finance across a fast-scaling international business.The Role:Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance team, strengthen governance, and drive key initiatives around integration, systems transformation, and operational efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decisions during a period of rapid growth and organisational change.Key Responsibilities:Oversee consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and board reportingLead end-to-end audits and ensure strong compliance across multiple entitiesDrive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and process improvementLead integration of acquired businesses, harmonising financial operations and controlsManage payroll, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance across geographiesMentor and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and high performancePartner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-makingEssential Background:Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 7+ years PQEStrong experience in transformation, integration, or post-acquisition financeBig 4 training or equivalent technical grounding in audit, reporting, and controlsProven track record in group financial control, operational finance, and team leadershipExperience in high-growth, international businesses, ideally PE-backed or scale-upStrong stakeholder management, communication, and change management skillsThis role is ideal for a finance leader looking to shape and transform the finance function in a fast-growing, international technology business.
