قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob SummaryThe Group Financial Controller will oversee the Group's corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, cash flow management, taxation, budgeting, and financial control functions across multiple entities with diverse business operations.The role will manage a team of Finance Managers, Accountants, and finance support staff while maintaining a hands-on approach to group accounting, consolidated reporting, statutory compliance, cash flow management, and management reporting.The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial information, strong internal controls, IFRS compliance, effective risk management, and adherence to statutory reporting and taxation deadlines across the Group.Key Responsibilities1. Group Accounting & Financial ControlLead and manage the Corporate Accounting function across Group entities.Oversee accounting operations and ensure ledgers are accurate, complete, and maintained on a timely basis.Manage the accounting function for holding company entities.Ensure appropriate accounting policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes are implemented across the Group.Monitor transaction flows from source systems through interfaces into the General Ledger.Identify opportunities to improve finance systems, processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.Ensure financial information meets both management and statutory reporting requirements.2. Group Consolidation & IFRS ReportingLead the preparation of consolidated Group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Manage quarterly, annual, and other consolidated financial reporting requirements.Ensure reporting is accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with applicable accounting standards.Prepare management reports and financial information for senior management and the Group CFO.Respond to ad hoc financial information and analysis requirements.Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across Group entities.3. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage the Group's cash flow within available banking facilities.Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.Monitor working capital and funding requirements.Identify potential cash flow risks and recommend appropriate actions.Provide regular cash flow and liquidity reports to the Group CFO.Support asset financing and other corporate finance activities.4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial PlanningLead the preparation of annual budgets for holding company entities.Develop and maintain rolling forecasts.Prepare 3–5 year financial projections and business plans.Analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts.Provide management with financial insights to support strategic decision-making.Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.5. Capital Investment & Financial AnalysisEvaluate capital investment proposals and business opportunities.Conduct financial feasibility assessments using:NPV – Net Present ValueIRR – Internal Rate of ReturnPayback PeriodROI and other relevant financial metrics.Prepare investment analysis and recommendations for senior management.Assess financial risks and expected returns of major capital investments.6. Statutory Audit & ComplianceManage relationships with external/statutory auditors.Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure financial statements are finalized within management deadlines.Review audit requirements and ensure accurate and timely submission of supporting documentation.Address audit findings and coordinate corrective actions.Liaise with internal auditors and provide accurate information and documentation.Monitor implementation of internal audit recommendations.7. Zakat, Tax & Regulatory ComplianceOversee the Group's statutory tax and regulatory obligations.Ensure timely preparation and filing of:ZakatVATWithholding TaxCustoms Duty / DrawbackOther applicable statutory returns.Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi tax and Zakat regulations.Coordinate with external tax advisors where required.Monitor changes in Saudi tax and Zakat regulations and assess their impact on the Group.8. Risk Management & Internal ControlsIdentify, assess, and report significant financial and operational risks to the Group CFO.Develop and strengthen internal financial controls across Group companies.Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and financial authorization controls.Monitor compliance with Group finance policies and procedures.Support corporate governance and risk-management initiatives.9. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop Finance Managers, Accountants, and support staff.Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.Identify training and development requirements for finance personnel.Build a high-performing Corporate Accounting team.Conduct regular team meetings and monitor progress against agreed KPIs.Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Finance function.10.
