Group Financial Controller

We're supporting a specialty insurance business, going through a period of real growth, on the appointment of a Group Financial Controller.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll lead the group/corporate finance function - covering the group's UK and overseas entities - and act as the key link between the wider group and the local finance team.Key responsibilities:Leading and developing the group/corporate finance teamEnsuring compliance across entities and managing third-party accounting providersDriving a general ledger review and change programmeOverseeing finance operations and liaising with auditors at half and full yearWhat we're looking for:Qualified accountant with 5+ years' PQE in a senior finance role in the Lloyd's marketExperience accounting for corporate entities and consolidated reporting in a complex group structureStrong leadership and finance change/project experienceThis is an excellent role for somebody who is looking to work in a business who are undergoing an exciting period of change. You'll be on a salary of £120,000-£130,000 + bonus + benefits with the opportunity to progress across the group.Location: London (hybrid)
