Operating across a diverse range of technical and professional end markets, the business has established a strong market position and continues to invest in both organic growth and operational improvement.This is a key leadership role within the finance function, offering significant exposure to the CFO and wider leadership team. The successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening financial control, improving processes, and delivering high-quality reporting and insight across the group.The RoleYou will take ownership of group financial control, reporting, compliance, and cash management, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to support business performance and strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:Ownership of monthly group management accounts and reportingManagement of group consolidations across multiple entitiesProduction of board and investor reporting packsResponsibility for statutory accounts and year-end audit processFull balance sheet ownership and control environment managementOversight of cash flow forecasting and working capital performanceBusiness partnering with operational and senior leadership teamsSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cyclesDriving process improvement and finance transformation initiativesDevelopment and management of the finance teamStrengthening financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworksSupporting system enhancements and reporting automationCandidate ProfileACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedStrong financial control and group reporting experienceExperience managing audits, statutory reporting, and consolidationsProven ability to lead and develop finance teamsCommercially astute with strong analytical capabilityConfident stakeholder manager, comfortable influencing senior leadershipExperience within professional services, business services, or staffing businessesPrior exposure to private equity-backed or high-growth businesses preferredProcess improvement and systems development experience beneficial
