Financial Controller | PE-Backed Data Centre PlatformCamino Search is partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-backed data centre business to appoint a Group Financial Controller. With significant capacity under development and continued investment from its sponsor, the business is building a finance function that can keep pace with an ambitious build-out programme.Reporting to the CFO, you will own the core accounting and control environment across a multi-entity group and support capital-intensive growth.The roleLead monthly, quarterly and year-end close across the group, including SPVs and development entitiesOwn accounting for construction and development capex, including capitalisation policy, asset registers and depreciationManage revenue recognition across colocation and wholesale contracts, including power pass-through and contract modificationsOversee lender and covenant reporting, working closely with the CFO on debt facilities and funding drawsDeliver statutory accounts and manage the external audit processStrengthen controls, systems and processes as the business scales, and lead and develop a small teamAbout youACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with Financial Controller or senior Group Reporting experienceBackground in a capital-intensive environment: data centres, infrastructure, telecoms, energy or real estateStrong technical grounding in IFRS, particularly fixed assets, leases (IFRS 16) and revenue recognitionExperience of PE-backed or lender-funded businesses and the reporting cadence that comes with themHands-on, commercially minded and comfortable building process in a growing businessThis is an opportunity to join a business at the heart of digital infrastructure growth, with genuine scope to shape the finance function and progress alongside it.
