Group Financial Controller | c£100,000 + Bonus + Car allowance + Excellent Benefits | London (Hybrid)Eutopia Search is exclusively partnering with a substantial, privately owned international group to appoint an experienced Group Financial Controller.We are specifically looking for an audit-trained Financial Controller who can demonstrate extensive, hands-on experience leading complex Group consolidations across a minimum of 20+ active trading entities. Candidates must be able to evidence the complexity of the accounts they have personally consolidated, including multiple operating businesses, intercompany transactions, consolidation adjustments and ideally international reporting requirements. Experience consolidating predominantly dormant companies, holding companies or straightforward legal structures will not be sufficient.Our client is a well-established international organisation with a complex Group structure comprising over 40 legal entities, offering significant exposure to senior leadership and longer-term career progression.Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the monthly Group consolidation process and preparation of consolidated statutory accounts, alongside overseeing financial control and reporting across the Group.Key responsibilities:Lead the monthly Group consolidation process across 40+ legal entities.Take ownership of the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and Group reporting.Manage complex intercompany reconciliations, investments and consolidation adjustments.Lead and coordinate the Group audit, working closely with divisional finance teams and external auditors.Drive improvements in Group reporting, systems and financial controls.Oversee the Head Office finance function, including management accounts and budgeting.What we're looking for:ACA or ACCA qualified with an audit-trained background, ideally Big 4 or Top 10.Extensive experience personally leading complex consolidations across at least 20+ active trading entities.Proven ownership of the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts, rather than simply reviewing or contributing to the process.Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS/UK GAAP and complex Group reporting.Experience managing consolidations across multiple operating businesses, ideally spanning different countries and currencies.The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a lean central finance function.Package:Circa £100,000 basic salaryCar allowance15% bonusMarket leading pension contributionLondon – 3 days per week in the officeLonger-term progression opportunitiesThis role will particularly suit a technically strong Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller who has already taken full responsibility for complex Group consolidations and is looking for broader exposure within an established international organisation.
