High-level Job Purpose StatementThe Group Head of Facility Management provides strategic leadership, governance, and operational oversight for all facility management activities across the group and its subsidiaries. Operating at the holding company level, the role ensures that all group assets, properties, and infrastructure are managed efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with corporate standards.This role also leads the Project Management Office (PMO), overseeing group-wide expansion, renovation, and capital projects, and manages all contracted facility-related services to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with group objectivesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement the Group Facility Management strategy and policies aligned with corporate goals, sustainability objectives, and operational excellence standards.Lead the centralization and standardization of facility management practices across the group’s subsidiaries.Provide strategic input and oversight for expansion, renovation, and refurbishment projects, ensuring alignment with business growth plans and brand standards.Guide long-term asset lifecycle management, including maintenance, capital replacement, and optimization strategies.Project and PMO LeadershipEstablish and lead the Group Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure disciplined execution of expansion, relocation, and renovation projects across all business units.Define and enforce project governance frameworks, project management methodologies, and performance metrics.Oversee project budgeting, planning, risk assessment, quality control, and timely delivery of all group construction and infrastructure initiatives.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, cost, and time constraints.Operations and Service ManagementOversee all facility management operations across group assets, including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities, safety, and environmental management.Drive efficiency and cost optimization through effective planning, supplier performance management, and energy conservation initiatives.Manage contracted services at the group level — including tendering, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring of facility service providers.Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and environmental standards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in quality and compliance.Governance and Risk ManagementEstablish and maintain facility management, governance frameworks and reporting systems across subsidiaries.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to physical assets, service delivery, and capital projects.Develop business continuity and emergency response plans for critical facilities.Financial and Performance OversightDevelop and manage the Group Facility Management budget and capital expenditure plans.Implement KPIs and performance dashboards to track operational efficiency, project progress, and service quality across the group.Optimize asset utilization and cost-effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.Leadership and People DevelopmentLead and mentor a high-performing team of facility and project management professionals, and engineers.Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between group and subsidiary facility teams.Promote a culture of accountability, safety, sustainability, and innovation in facility operations.Basic Requirements: Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Professional Certification: IFMA, RICS, PMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facilities and project management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a diversified group or holding company.Proven track record in strategic facility planning, project delivery, and service contract management.Experience in large-scale expansion or capital projects and managing cross-functional, multi-site operations.Preferred AttributesStrong understanding of building systems, maintenance technologies, and sustainability practices.Expertise in PMO methodologies, project planning tools, and contract management.Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.Strategic and analytical thinking.Strong leadership and influencing skills.Excellent project governance and organizational skills.Commercial awareness and vendor management expertise.Commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
