KGGermanyAbout Polaris GroupPolaris Group is an international group of companies active across logistics, automotive transportation, shipping and related investments.With operations across multiple European markets and a growing international footprint, we are continuing to expand our business while strengthening the central functions of Polaris Global Holdings.As part of this development, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Group HR Manager (m/f/d) to build and lead our Group-wide HR function.Your RoleReporting directly to Group Management, you will take responsibility for developing a professional, scalable and business-oriented HR organization across Polaris Group.This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape our people strategy, organizational structures and HR processes as the Group continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions.You will initially take ownership of the Group HR function and, depending on the future target operating model and growth of Polaris Group, build and lead additional HR resources within Polaris Global Holdings and/or our individual Business Lines and operating companies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Group-wide HR strategy in line with the growth strategy of Polaris GroupEstablish professional HR structures, policies, processes and standards across the GroupAct as a trusted HR partner to Group Management and the management teams of our operating companiesSupport organizational development and the evolution of management and reporting structuresAssess future HR resource requirements and develop an appropriate HR operating model across the Holding and Business LinesBuild, develop and lead additional HR resources as the organization growsCoordinate and support recruitment for key management and specialist positionsDevelop Group-wide recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle standardsEstablish compensation and benefits frameworks and support management with salary benchmarkingIntroduce structured performance management and annual review processesDevelop talent management and succession planning for key positionsSupport leadership development across the organizationMaintain Group-wide headcount, personnel cost and HR KPI reporting in cooperation with FinanceCoordinate local HR teams, payroll providers and external employment-law advisorsSupport HR due diligence and post-merger integration in connection with acquisitionsEnsure appropriate Group-wide HR governance while respecting local employment laws and requirementsDevelop and strengthen Polaris Group's employer brand and corporate culture together with Marketing and Group ManagementYour ProfileUniversity degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a comparable fieldSeveral years of relevant HR experience, ideally within an international, entrepreneurial or rapidly growing organizationDemonstrated experience in building, developing and leading teams and HR functions from the ground upProven ability to assess organizational needs and translate business growth into appropriate HR structures and resourcesExperience establishing or professionalizing HR structures, processes and governanceAbility to design and scale an HR operating model across both Group/Holding and Business Line levelExperience managing and developing HR professionals as the organization growsStrong understanding of German employment law;
