Job Summery As a Group Mining Technologies Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful deployment, integration, and optimization of advanced mining technology solutions across the Mantrac Group. Working closely with customers, Caterpillar technology experts, and cross-functional teams, you will help accelerate digital transformation initiatives that improve safety, productivity, equipment performance, and operational efficiency across mining operations.Job Description Provide expert technical support and guidance for Caterpillar Mining Technology solutions, including MineStar™, telematics, connectivity, and other digital mining platforms.Support the implementation, commissioning, testing, integration, and optimization of mining technology systems across customer sites and Mantrac territories.Collaborate with Sales, Product Support, and customer teams to assess operational requirements and design technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.Participate in customer demonstrations, technical workshops, site assessments, and proof-of-concept initiatives to showcase technology capabilities and drive adoption.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, connectivity, and system integration issues to ensure optimal system reliability and performance.Deliver technical training, coaching, and knowledge transfer programs to customers and internal stakeholders, promoting effective technology utilization and best practices.Analyze equipment and operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities, enhance productivity, and support data-driven decision-making.Prepare technical proposals, deployment plans, performance reports, recommendations, and customer-facing presentations.Collaborate closely with Caterpillar Mining Technology specialists and regional teams to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing customer success.Stay abreast of emerging mining technologies, automation trends, digital innovations, and industry best practices to continuously enhance solution offerings.Travel across Mantrac Business Units and customer sites to support implementation projects, technical consulting, training activities, and operational excellence initiatives.Job SpecificationBachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.1-3 years of experience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial technology, automation, telematics, digital solutions, or related technical fields.Exposure to technical support, technology deployment, system integration, or field operations is preferred.Experience working with customers, operational teams, or technical stakeholders is an advantage.Interest in mining technologies, connectivity solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.What We OfferHands-on experience with industry-leading technologies, including Caterpillar MineStar™, Fleet Management, Telematics, Connectivity, Automation, and Analytics solutions.Exposure to large-scale mining technology deployments across diverse operations and multiple countries.Collaboration with regional and global Caterpillar experts, gaining access to world-class technical knowledge and best practices.Continuous learning and professional development within a rapidly evolving digital mining environment.The opportunity to influence customer success by delivering solutions that improve safety, productivity, sustainability, and operational performance.A dynamic and innovative team culture focused on driving the future of mining technology across the Mantrac Group.
