This role involves creating a safe, inclusive space,collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to treatment planning and crisis intervention as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate psychotherapy groups tailored to client needs, including CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, psychoeducational, and support groupsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate group goals into clients' comprehensive treatment plansImplement evidence-based interventions to promote mental health, coping skills, and interpersonal effectivenessMonitor group dynamics and adjust interventions to enhance engagement and therapeutic outcomesProvide crisis intervention and safety planning as neededConduct clinical intakes and complete assessments as needed, particularly while group census is developingMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with OMH regulations and clinic policiesParticipate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional developmentAdditional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

Must have a master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health field and have an active license as a LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMFTMinimum of 3 years of experience providing psychotherapy, with a strong emphasis on group therapyDemonstrated ability to lead and facilitate therapy groups for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, or adults, based on the organization's needsProficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or other group therapy frameworksWorks effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing case consultations and progress updatesExperience in documenting sessions, treatment planning, and maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standardsBilingual in Spanish is highly preferredWorking ConditionsThis position will be located at the Rochester office at 1299 Portland Avenue, Suite1, Rochester, NY 14621 or Remote.
