Group Supply Chain Director

Key Accountabilities:Manage and oversee the Group’s overall Supply Chain operations, including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance.Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies, policies, procedures, and operational plans in alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, production supplies, and finished products while maintaining the required quality and continuity of supply.Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, approved suppliers, and timely delivery.Oversee inventory and warehouse management, including minimum and maximum stock levels, proper storage, inventory accuracy, and efficient utilization of warehouse capacity.Monitor and optimize logistics and transportation operations, ensuring efficient distribution, cost control, and effective utilization of available resources.Monitor Supply Chain performance, costs, risks, and operational efficiency, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Lead and develop the Supply Chain team, ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, budgets, and applicable regulations, and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Economics, etc.)Postgraduate/Master's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business Administration, etc.)Professional certifications in Supply Chain are a plusMinimum 15 years of experience, with at least the last 5 years in a similar roleGeneral training: Public Administration, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Team Building & Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Financial Analysis, etc.Specialized training: Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Systems, etc.Good command of English sufficient to perform job duties efficiently and effectively
