With a strong heritage and global network, we connect markets and businesses through seamless, safe and reliable logistics solutions.We are now looking for a Group Treasurer to join our team.Role OverviewThe Group Treasurer will be responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling the global treasury function across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring robust liquidity management, optimizing capital structures, managing financial risks, and building strong treasury governance and systems to support global operations. The Group Treasurer will act as a key strategic partner to the Global CFO, business units, and external financial institutions.Key Responsibilities1. Daily Cash ManagementOversee and implement efficient global cash management strategies.Ensure accurate cash positioning, forecasting, and visibility across all jurisdictions.Lead the centralization and automation of cash management processes to enhance control and efficiency.2. Loans and FinancingManage the Group’s debt portfolio, including bank loans, capital markets financing, and intercompany funding structures.Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with banks, rating agencies, and financial partners.Ensure optimal capital structure and cost-effective access to funding for global operations.3. Working Capital OptimizationPartner with business and finance teams to reduce working capital requirements.Drive initiatives around receivables, payables, and inventory financing to maximize free cash flow.Implement metrics and reporting to track working capital performance.4. FX Management and HedgingIdentify and manage foreign exchange exposures across the Group.Develop and execute FX risk management strategies, including the use of derivatives and natural hedges.Monitor market developments and provide insights on currency risks to management.5. Restricted Cash OptimizationAssess and optimize usage of restricted cash balances in various jurisdictions.Develop strategies to release trapped cash and repatriate funds where possible.Implement best practices to minimize the impact of restrictions on liquidity.6. Strategic Group Finance Transformation ProjectsSupport the CFO and Finance Leadership Team in delivering enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.Contribute treasury expertise to projects such as:Implementation of new Management Systems (TMS).Centralization and automation of finance and cash processes.Strengthening governance, controls, and compliance frameworks.Enhancing global liquidity forecasting, reporting, and analytics capabilities.Act as a change champion, collaborating across functions to ensure treasury is fully integrated into wider finance transformation programs.Additional ResponsibilitiesBuild and mentor a high-performing global treasury team.Implement treasury systems and technology platforms to improve visibility, efficiency, and controls.Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.Provide strategic input into M&A, divestitures, and large-scale financing transactions.Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and leadership on treasury-related risks and opportunities.Qualifications & Experience13+ years of progressive treasury or finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational environment.Strong expertise in corporate finance, global liquidity management, debt capital markets, and FX risk management.Proven experience in building treasury functions, systems, and teams from the ground up.Advanced knowledge of treasury management systems and financial instruments.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA, or MBA preferred.Personal AttributesStrategic thinker with strong operational execution skills.Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence at all levels.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
