Our culture is collaborative, curious, and wired for ideas that move people.About the roleThe Strategist turns client business goals into clear, data-backed marketing strategy, then makes sure the agency delivers on it. You'll own the strategic direction for a portfolio of medium to large accounts, acting as the client's trusted advisor and the team's North Star for what we're doing and why.This role sits at the intersection of account leadership and strategic planning. You'll spend less time chasing timelines and more time building plans, reading the data, and spotting the next opportunity, using AI-powered tools to sharpen insight and move faster.What you'll doOwn strategy for a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary strategic advisor and point of contact.Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients at all levels, from day-to-day contacts to senior leaders.Translate client business objectives into short- and long-term marketing strategies, account plans, and measurable goals.Use performance data, market signals, and AI-generated insights to monitor account health and anticipate client needs before they're raised.Develop and present sophisticated proposals, quarterly business reviews, strategic recommendations, and campaign results with confidence.Write sharp, insight-driven creative briefs that give teams a clear problem to solve and lead to strong work.Build and negotiate scopes of work, including budgets, timelines, resourcing, and expected ROI, that are strategically sound and profitable.Lead cross-functional teams so work ships on-strategy, on time, and on budget.Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts, including upsell, cross-sell, and retention plays.Partner with business development on pitches and new business, and lead a smooth handoff from sales to onboarding.Prepare and coach teams for client meetings and pitches, often leading the presentation.What you bringBachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or a related field.4–6+ years of agency experience, with a track record of shaping strategy for and growing client accounts.Experience building account plans, briefs, and recommendations grounded in data and audience insight.Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Microsoft Ads certifications are a plus.Hands-on experience with AI tools for research, insight, or analysis is a plus.SkillsStrategic thinking: you connect marketing activity to business outcomes and can explain the "why" behind every recommendation.Strong grasp of integrated marketing across traditional and digital channels.Comfort with data: you can read performance reports and analytics and turn them into clear next steps.Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm, proactive approach.Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple accounts at once.Proficiency with project management tools and Google Workspace.
