We are looking for someone with a Founder’s Office mindset—someone who can take an ambiguous business question, independently research it, understand the market and economy, identify opportunities and risks, and convert the thinking into sharp recommendations and exceptional presentations.Think Like This:“Should we enter this industry?”You research the economy, industry, market size, trends, competitors, business models, opportunity, risks and relevant data—and present a clear “What, Why, How and Should We?”Or:“We have a fundraising meeting. Build the story.”You independently develop an investor-ready deck covering the business, market opportunity, growth story, traction, economics, competitive positioning, future potential and the investment case.What You Will DoWork directly with the COO, founders and leadership team on strategic and growth initiatives.Participate in board, investor and leadership discussions, understand the context and translate conversations into actionable outputs.Independently research industries, markets, business models and emerging opportunities.Understand the macro economy, industry dynamics and relevant verticals, and assess how a business fits into the larger ecosystem.Build market landscapes, competitor maps, industry analysis and opportunity assessments.Identify meaningful data points, trends, benchmarks and insights and turn them into business conclusions.Develop solutions and recommendations, not just research.Create high-impact PowerPoint decks, board presentations, investor presentations and fundraising materials from scratch.Build compelling business stories using data, analysis and visual storytelling.Use AI and new-Times tools to accelerate research, analysis, content creation and presentation development.Support strategic projects requiring speed, ownership, structured thinking and execution.The Core Capability We Are Looking ForGive the candidate a topic with limited guidance, and they should be able to figure out:What should I research?Which data matters?What is happening in the market?Where is the opportunity?What are the risks?What should the business do?How should this be presented to the Board, leadership or investors?The candidate should be capable of turning:Question → Research → Data → Insight → Opportunity → Solution → Business Story → Exceptional PPTKey SkillsExceptional PowerPoint / presentation-making skillsStrong Excel and data analysisExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong research, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of economics, markets, business models and industry dynamicsStrong market landscaping and competitive intelligence capabilityAbility to convert complex information into clear, compelling business narrativesStrong command of AI and new-times productivity toolsCommercial and strategic thinkingComfortable working with ambiguity and tight timelinesIdeal ProfileWe would particularly like to meet professionals who have:Worked closely with founders / CXOs in early-stage or high-growth businesses.Experience in Founder’s Office, Strategy, Business Growth, CEO/COO Office or similar roles.Exposure to board meetings, investor discussions or senior management reviews.The ability to independently create a brilliant presentation on almost any business topic through research and structured thinking.Strong curiosity about business, markets, the economy, startups and emerging industries.An entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.A strong bias towards ownership, learning and execution.EducationPreferred backgrounds include B.Com, Economics, Engineering, STEM, MBA or other analytical/business-oriented disciplines.However, capability matters more than pedigree.
