Job DescriptionAs a Growth Ventures Intern, you will support strategic growth initiatives across the Umdasch Group. Your work will focus on market intelligence, company scouting for M&A opportunities, and early-stage deal support across selected growth areas within the built environment and construction technology sectors.This role offers hands-on exposure to corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate venturing, innovation ecosystems, and growth initiatives. You will work closely with experienced professionals while contributing directly to ongoing strategic projects and opportunity assessments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport outreach initiatives, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities with external partnersConduct structured market and sector research on construction technology, built-environment innovation, and selected growth areasSupport startup scouting, target identification, and opportunity mappingPrepare presentations, research summaries, and management materials for internal stakeholdersMap the external innovation ecosystem, including accelerators, venture funds, brokers, startup platforms, industry networks, and academic institutionsMonitor industry developments, market trends, and relevant startup and technology newsSupport the evaluation of potential growth, partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunitiesAssist in maintaining market intelligence databases and tracking strategic developments across target sectorsContribute to the preparation of internal business cases, opportunity assessments, and strategic reviewsQualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in growth strategy, M&A, venture capital, startups, technology trends, and innovation ecosystemsExcellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to synthesize information from multiple sources into concise insights and recommendationsExperience using AI-powered tools for research, documentation, and analysisStructured, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasksStrong attention to detail and a high level of professionalismExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English Additional InformationWhat we offer:Exposure to corporate strategy, M&A, innovation scouting, and growth initiatives within a global organizationHands-on experience working on real business opportunities and strategic projectsMentorship from experienced professionals in strategy, innovation, and corporate developmentAn international working environment within a successful family-owned businessA motivated team with extensive opportunities for learning and professional developmentPractical experience with growth, innovation, partnership, and investment projects in the construction and built-environment sectorsThe duration and working model can be adapted based on the candidate's availability and academic commitments.The position is open to:Students in their final year joining on a part-time basis alongside their studiesRecent graduates, who are available for a full-time internship experienceRequirementsCar and UAE drivers license requiredApplicants must have a UAE residency visa (student visa/ family dependency) to be eligible to work in Dubai for the duration of the internship (minimum of 6 months) We look forward to receiving your application
