Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Post Start Date: 07/10/2026Job Post End Date: 14/10/2026About the CompanyEstablished in 1988 as part of Saudi Arabia's strategy to develop self-sufficiency in civil and military aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and modifications through technology transfer and the development of Saudi nationals.VisionTo lead the future of aviation, space, and defense – setting global standards while powering the ambition of Vision 2030.MissionTo deliver high-quality aviation products and services that ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term profitability.Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork under the assigned management structure and report to the Site Superintendent.Perform repair, maintenance, servicing, inspection, and troubleshooting of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and related support equipment.Determine GSE maintenance requirements, including inspection of parts, tolerances, fuel leaks, corrosion, tire wear, structural damage, cracks, and overall system performance.Use wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and applicable technical orders to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain GSE systems and components, including engines, transmissions, gearboxes, instrumentation, hydraulic systems, basic electrical systems, heating systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems, gases, liquids, and associated servicing systems.Analyze equipment operating characteristics to identify sources of malfunction and determine appropriate repair procedures. Perform operational checks, functional testing, fault isolation, and troubleshooting of GSE systems.Interpret and apply GSE maintenance and installation policies, procedures, technical manuals, and applicable maintenance instructions.Maintain, inspect, and calibrate GSE test equipment and conduct detailed testing of repaired equipment using appropriate test equipment and diagnostic tools.Determine requirements for GSE maintenance activities, including tools, equipment, spare parts, consumables, and other maintenance resources.Supervise GSE maintenance personnel and assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities and work assignments.Ensure maintenance personnel understand and comply with applicable GSE maintenance procedures, safety requirements, technical directives, and maintenance standards.Maintain GSE technical publications, Technical Orders (TOs), maintenance records, training documentation, and applicable forms.Evaluate the job performance of GSE technicians and specialists with regard to compliance with maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance requirements, technical instructions, and applicable standards.Conduct structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) for GSE trainees and personnel, covering equipment operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, and safe working practices.Monitor trainee progress and provide practical guidance to support qualification and competency development. The recommended maximum trainer-to-trainee ratio is 1:3.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceMinimum Diploma in Ground Support Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical, Electronics, or a recognized aviation technical training program specializing in GSE, with a minimum duration of two (2) years, or an equivalent qualification.Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience as a Ground Support Equipment Technician within military or civilian aviation environments.Previous experience in providing technical training or On-the-Job Training (OJT) is preferred.A documented OJT logbook or training record related to Ground Support Equipment is preferred.Must hold a recognized GSE technical course certificate and a Train-the-Trainer or equivalent instructor qualification.For non-native English speakers, a minimum English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0 is preferred. English language competency may also be assessed during the interview process.Good working knowledge of office automation tools and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
