Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking to develop your skills within a hotel environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied role at the heart of the guest experience.Conveniently located close to Southampton Central Station and the city's cruise terminals, ibis Southampton Centre welcomes a mix of business travellers, leisure guests and cruise passengers throughout the year.The RoleAs a Guest Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Working across reception and food & beverage operations, you'll help create a seamless guest experience while maintaining high standards across the hotel.Key responsibilities include:Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outsProcessing payments and handling guest enquiriesPreparing and serving food and beveragesProviding local area information and assisting with guest requestsSupporting conference and meeting room set-up when requiredMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentationWorking closely with colleagues across all departments to deliver excellent serviceAbout YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.Previous hospitality or hotel experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
