Gynecologist

We are hiring an experienced Gynecologist for a leading hospital in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient and inpatient gynecological care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of women's health conditions (non-obstetric).Role SummaryThe Gynecologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gynecological care, focusing exclusively on non-obstetric conditions. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of gynecological disorders, as well as preventive health services for women across all age groups. The role requires close collaboration with other hospital departments to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outpatient consultations for gynecological complaints, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infections, and hormonal imbalancesPerform gynecological examinations, diagnostic procedures (e.g., pap smears, ultrasounds, colposcopy), and minor in-clinic proceduresDiagnose and manage conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, PCOS, and menopause-related issuesPlan and perform gynecological surgeries (e.g., laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures) as required, in coordination with the surgical teamProvide family planning counseling and contraceptive managementConduct cervical and breast cancer screening, and refer/manage abnormal findings appropriatelyMaintain accurate, timely patient documentation and medical records in line with hospital and regulatory standardsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (radiology, oncology, endocrinology, etc.) for complex casesParticipate in patient education initiatives regarding reproductive and general women's healthAdhere to hospital protocols, UAE healthcare regulations, and relevant clinical governance standardsParticipate in on-call rotations, departmental meetings, and continuous professional development activitiesQualifications & RequirementsMD/MBBS with specialization/board certification in GynecologyValid or eligible license from DOH, DHA, or MOH (UAE)Minimum 3–5 years of post-residency clinical experience in gynecologyProficiency in gynecological ultrasound and minimally invasive procedures preferredStrong diagnostic, surgical, and patient management skillsExcellent communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
