The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and organizing product displays, ensuring adequate stock levels, and maintaining visual merchandising standards across retail locations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with store teams and suppliers, tracking product performance, analyzing sales trends, and recommending improvements to product placement and assortment. The role also involves interacting with customers and frontline staff to gather feedback, supporting promotional activities, and ensuring brand consistency in all merchandising materials. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with sales and marketing stakeholders to drive product visibility and support revenue growth.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with store teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to manage product displays, understand store operations, and support sales performance.Candidates should possess Marketing-related skills to assist with promotions, visual merchandising, and brand-aligned product placement.Good analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to track inventory, interpret sales data, and manage multiple retail locations.Attention to detail and a practical understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail aesthetics.Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, including regular visits to stores and flexibility in working hours as per retail requirements.Prior experience in merchandising, retail operations, or FMCG/consumer goods is preferred.Minimum educational qualification: Higher Secondary or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is beneficial.
