Here, we do more than just work—we walk together with the shared pride of designing the future of energy for our planet.Role OverviewAs a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving our regional supply chain efficiency and project procurement in the Kingdom. This position requires a strong understanding of the Saudi market, vendor landscape, and local procurement regulations, including In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities support project timelines and cost targets.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and pre-qualify local and international vendors, and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL), prioritizing Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) registered suppliers.Ensure procurement activities comply with Saudi commercial laws, ZATCA (tax/customs), Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) standards, and IKTVA requirements.Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and local logistics coordination with freight forwarders.Draft and review vendor contracts, terms, and conditions to mitigate commercial risks.Track and expedite material delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery for ongoing projects.Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), analyze commercial bids, and negotiate optimal pricing and payment terms with vendors.Issue Purchase Orders (POs), manage end-to-end purchasing via the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, monitor expenditures against project budgets, and evaluate vendor performance.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (experience in the Middle East / Saudi market preferred).Professional working proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a strong plus).Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (Excel).Solid understanding of international trade, PO/contract administration, and basic import/customs clearance procedures in Saudi Arabia.Preferred QualificationsProfessional supply chain certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).In-depth understanding of Saudi port customs clearance processes, Saudi shipping corridors, and managing local freight forwarders.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)Hanwha Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
