The office is located in Tel Aviv, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.Role Description-Serving as a Hands-On Embedded Team Lead (50% Hands-On HW/FW / 50% Technical Leadership & People Management), leading an agile engineering team of 3–6 embedded developers.Driving end-to-end architecture, development, integration, and debugging of complex embedded systems spanning hardware (board-level) and firmware layers.Leading projects from initial system requirements and proof-of-concept through design, NPI, verification, and successful mass production handoff.Leading technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, process implementation, risk mitigation, and engineering mentorship across the team.Serving as the primary technical interface for startup clients: managing technical roadmaps, translating business and functional needs into engineering specs, and leading technical governance.Ensuring full compliance with stringent medical device regulatory standards and quality workflows throughout development lifecycles.Actively leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate architecture exploration, code generation, debugging, and technical documentation.Requirements-B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree – Mandatory8+ years of total experience as a Senior Embedded Engineer, Embedded Team Lead, or Systems Engineer – Mandatory3+ years of proven team leadership or people management experience – Mandatory3+ years of direct, customer-facing technical experience (managing client requirements, technical workshops, and cross-company alignment) – Mandatory5+ years of combined hands-on experience across both Hardware (HW) and Firmware (FW) – MandatoryDeep, hands-on programming expertise in C and C++ for embedded microcontrollers / RTOS / bare-metal platforms – MandatoryProven track record leading multidisciplinary hardware/firmware projects end-to-end all the way to Mass Production – MandatoryHands-on engineering experience within the regulated Medical Device industry (familiarity with medical standards such as IEC 62304 / ISO 13485) – MandatoryActive, practical adoption of modern AI tools within engineering workflows (e.g., AI coding assistants, code analysis, documentation) – MandatoryProfessional, high-level verbal and written English communication skills – Mandatory
