Location: Ben Cat, Binh Duong (Shuttle bus provided)Role SummaryTake ownership of in-production engineering for SMPS products, focusing on reliability, quality, cost, and manufacturability improvements.Lead root cause analysis, component lifecycle management, compliance maintenance, and production support across global manufacturing partners.Strong candidates may be considered for the Senior Electrical Engineer level.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical engineering activities covering product testing, failure analysis, engineering improvements, quality, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain SMPS products throughout their product lifecycle.Perform debugging and verification, including efficiency, thermal performance, regulation, transient response, protection features, conducted/radiated EMI pre-scans, and safety testing.Develop test plans and procedures and conduct hands-on testing of SMPS products, circuits, and components.Drive value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives, including qualification of alternative components and suppliers without compromising performance.Collect and analyze test data, prepare test reports, and maintain proper technical documentation.Design hardware and software-based test systems to support test automation.Conduct FMEA to identify critical and high-risk electrical design areas, perform evaluation testing, and implement risk mitigation actions.Conduct root cause analysis, identify failure mechanisms, and develop appropriate countermeasures.QualificationsBachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.5+ years of experience in electrical/electronics product development or sustaining engineering.Strong fundamentals in analogue, power, and digital electronics; able to interpret schematics and circuits, understand component functions, and analyze electrical stresses.Experience in qualifying electronic components and systems, with an understanding of common processes and methods in electronics design and manufacturing.Hands-on experience with environmental testing, laboratory equipment, and measurement instruments.Familiarity with ECAD tools such as Altium or OrCAD, including schematics, PCB, and Gerber.Proficiency in FMEA, 8D, DOE, and statistical analysis.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Office, Teams, and SharePoint.Result-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about continuous improvement.Nice to HaveExperience with HV measurement techniques and laboratory equipment such as HV probes and oscilloscopes.Familiarity with SMPS topologies, including flyback/forward, resonant/LLC, PFC front-ends, multipliers, and HV bias supplies.Experience in high-reliability industries such as medical, industrial, automotive, or aerospace.
