You’ll work across PCB design, embedded firmware, prototyping, testing and product validation, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, production-ready hardware. What you’ll be doingDesign and develop PCB hardware from concept through schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping and production.Develop embedded firmware alongside your hardware designs.Carry out board bring-up, debugging and hardware validation.Support EMC testing and regulatory compliance activities.Work across the full product lifecycle, from early R&D through to production-ready hardware.Collaborate with software, systems and mechanical engineers to integrate hardware into autonomous platforms.Support continuous product improvement through testing, investigation and root cause analysis. What we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who enjoys building products from the ground up and is equally comfortable working across electronics and embedded software. You’ll ideally have experience with:PCB design and layout for embedded electronic systems.Embedded firmware development.Schematic capture, board bring-up and hardware debugging.EMC testing and design for compliance.Developing products from prototype through to manufacture.Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.Importantly, this is a dual-skill role. We’re looking for engineers who can demonstrate experience across both PCB design and embedded firmware development, rather than one discipline in isolation.
