Hardware Sales Associate

Martin’s Home Center is known for quality products, competitive pricing, and attentive, personalized customer service.Role Description:Martin’s is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Associate. As a key member of our team, you will assist customers with their home improvement needs, provide expert advice, and help maintain a well-organized and well-stocked department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice in various departments.- Educate customers on proper use, installation, and maintenance of products.- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and organized.- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.- Assist with store merchandising and promotional displays.- Support team members in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

-Knowledge: Strong understanding of general home maintenance, basic tools, lawn and garden, & hardware.- Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform tasks that require reaching, bending, and climbing.- Availability: Flexible availability, including Saturdays.
