Team members collaborate with clients from diverse industries, contributing to safer and more resilient operations.Role Description The HCIS/SAIS Security Consultant is responsible for advising clients on compliance with HCIS and SAIS security standards and implementing best practices across their facilities and operations.This is a full-time hybrid role based, with a combination of on-site client visits and work-from-home tasks such as documentation, analysis, and reporting. Day-to-day activities include assessing physical and electronic security controls, reviewing security designs and system architectures, preparing security risk assessments, and developing mitigation plans aligned with regulatory requirements.The consultant will coordinate with client stakeholders, prepare technical proposals and security plans, support audits and inspections, and provide training and guidance to ensure sustained compliance and continuous improvement in security posture. The role also involves staying current with relevant regulations, technologies, and industry trends and translating them into practical recommendations for clients.QualificationsStrong Security Consulting skills, including risk assessment, regulatory compliance (HCIS/SAIS), and security program development.With at least 5 years industrial and non industrial HCIS SAIS Design and Installation projects for Class 1 FacilitiesOr 10 years in commercial projects design and construction experienceOr 15 years residential projects design and construction experienceExperience in Application Security, including secure design review, vulnerability assessment, and remediation planning.Hands-on expertise in Cybersecurity, including threat analysis, incident response coordination, and implementation of security controls.Proficiency in Network Security, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network architecture.Solid foundation in Information Security, including policies and procedures, access control, data protection, and security governance.Bachelor’s degree in security, engineering, information technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (HCIS-related credentials) are an advantage.Ability to interpret and apply HCIS and SAIS standards within industrial and critical infrastructure environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.Willingness to travel within the region for site visits, assessments, and client meetings as required.
