Head AI Instructor

Fundamental Edge is seeking an experienced buy-side investor and AI practitioner to help develop and lead AI instruction across its investment training programs.The ideal candidate combines institutional investing experience, a strong teaching ability, and a track record of building useful AI workflows for investment research. That experience may come from applying AI within an investment role or from continued work building with AI after leaving the buy-side.The focus is practical: helping investment professionals use AI to improve research productivity, deepen analysis, and make better-informed decisions. Advanced coding or software development experience is not required.The roleYou will work with the Fundamental Edge team and program instructors to shape and deliver AI instruction across the curriculum. Responsibilities include:Identifying high-value applications of AI across investment workflows, including idea generation, company research, financial modeling, and earnings season.Building, testing, and teaching practical workflows that investment professionals can apply in their own work.Delivering live instruction through public webinars and cohort sessions.Developing and updating demonstrations, exercises, and instructional materials as AI capabilities evolve.Evaluating AI tools and explaining their strengths, limitations, and appropriate uses.Contributing to vendor relationships, product reviews, and educational partnerships.Required experienceInstitutional buyside investing experience.Demonstrated experience building and applying AI workflows for investment research and analysis.Experience teaching, training, or coaching students or investment professionals.Ability to translate complex tools and workflows into clear, actionable instruction.Capacity to collaborate with the FE team and program instructors on an ongoing basis.Preferred experienceEvaluating and working with a range of AI tools.Leading or supporting AI adoption at an institutional buyside firm.Familiarity with AI vendors serving investment professionals.Building workflows across multiple stages of the investment process.Teaching users with different levels of technical knowledge and AI experience.Compensation and structureRevenue share from all open-enrollment participants in AI training programs.Potential for additional earnings through custom enterprise training engagements.Potential for additional revenue share through affiliate arrangements with AI vendor partners.TimelineFundamental Edge is seeking to fill this role immediately.
