We take the beer seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.ABOUT THE ROLEWe're looking for an experienced Head Brewer to own production from raw materials to the glass. You'll have real creative and operational ownership over what goes in the tank, what goes on the menu, and how we continue to build this program. You'll report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the GM and front-of-house team.RESPONSIBILITIESProductionFull brewing operations: mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, conditioning, and packagingRaw material sourcing and ordering — grain, hops, yeast, adjuncts, CO2, chemicals, and packaging materialsRecipe development and maintenance across our core and seasonal lineupBatch recordkeeping and quality control (ABV, gravity, sensory)Equipment maintenance, sanitation, and cellar cleanlinessTTB Brewer's Report of Operations and TABC compliance filingCreativeCollaboration on can art and coordination with print vendors through COLA approvalTeamOversight of cellar and packaging staffContribution to the weekly production scheduleWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR3+ years of professional brewing experience, at least 1 year in a lead or head brewer roleExperience across multiple stylesHands-on experience managing raw material ordering and vendor relationshipsFamiliarity with TTB reporting and the COLA processComfortable in a small, fast-moving team where titles don't excuse you from getting your hands dirtyStrong communication skillsBonus: experience with can packaging, recipe software, or graphic design toolsWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceFull-time, salaried positionBenefits packageReal creative input into the beer programLOCATION9 Prestige Circle, Allen, TX 75002HOW TO APPLYSend your resume and a brief note on your background and what you'd want to build here to jens@armorbrand.com.
