As the Head Concierge, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by anticipating their needs and providing personalized assistance tailored to their preferences.Your extensive knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events, coupled with your strong network within the community, will enable you to offer unique experiences and recommendations that enhance our guests' stay. This role is vital in ensuring that every guest feels valued and receives expert guidance throughout their time at our luxury hotel.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the concierge team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfactionProvide expert recommendations on local attractions, dining, transportation, entertainment, and cultural activitiesHandle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care, ensuring prompt resolutionMaintain a strong network of contacts within the local community to provide unique experiences and services to guestsCoordinate transportation, reservations, and special requests for affluent guestsContinuously enhance knowledge of local events and attractions to provide guests with tailored suggestionsMonitor and evaluate concierge operations, implementing improvements as necessaryWork closely with the Front Office Manager and Guest Relations team to enhance the guest experienceUpload Conrad's brand values in all concierge interactions, reflecting elegance, professionalism, and personalized careEnsure compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulationsConduct regular training and briefings to keep the team informed of local events, new services, and Conrad/ Hilton standardsManage concierge budgets, inventory (e.g., tickets, brochures), and supplier relationshipsPrepare and maintain daily reports, shift schedules, and performance metricsRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel concierge role, with at least 2 years in a leadership positionIn-depth knowledge of Athens and surrounding areas, including cultural events, dining, and attractionsExceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiencesStrong leadership abilities with experience in training and developing a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Greek and English; additional languages are a plusAbility to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situationsTechnology proficient, familiar with concierge management systems and hotel software, specifically Opera PMS, is a plusBenefitsAt Conrad Athens The Ilisian, you'll be part of a world-renowned luxury brand where creativity, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence are celebrated.
