Palton Morgan Holdings has delivered more than 7,000 units and serviced plots since 2014, with consistent year-on-year growth across all metrics — performance that compares favourably with Nigerian developers holding investment-grade ratings and market issuance track records.We're looking for a seasoned corporate finance professional to build and lead this function from the ground up: planning and appraising how capital is deployed, raising it on the best available terms, and representing the Group credibly to investors, rating agencies and development finance institutions.What you'll own: 🔹 Capital raising & execution — structure and close fundraising across project finance, SPV equity, joint ventures, receivables financing, non-interest facilities and, in time, commercial paper and bonds 🔹 Financial planning & analysis — own the Group budget, rolling reforecast, monthly management pack and the Group financial model 🔹 Deal appraisal & capital allocation — write the Group's investment policy and appraise every project before commitment 🔹 Investor relations & ratings — build the investor data room, own the equity story, and lead the Group through to a first corporate credit ratingWhat you bring: ✔️ A degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or a related field ✔️ A professional qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) ✔️ 12-15 years post-qualification experience, with a track record of closing transactions, not just preparing materials for them ✔️ Experience across corporate finance, FP&A, and investor/lender relations ✔️ Real estate, infrastructure or project finance underwriting experience strongly preferred ✔️ Familiarity with the Nigerian funding market — banks, non-bank lenders, DFIs, SEC and FMDQ processes ✔️ Exposure to a rating process, commercial paper programme or bond issuance is a strong advantageThis is a build role for someone who wants to establish a function, not just run one — you'll recruit your own team, set the policies, and carry the transaction load personally while it comes together.
