The centre is a LEED U.S. certified green building and provides price-assured treatment packages, emphasizing high-quality, patient-centric care comparable to international benchmarks.Role Description The Head of Critical Care Medicine will lead and oversee the hospital’s critical care services, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care across intensive care units. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring multidisciplinary critical care teams, developing and implementing clinical protocols, and coordinating with other specialties to optimize patient outcomes. The role involves direct patient management, clinical decision-making for complex cases, and active participation in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and academic activities. The Head will collaborate on resource planning, staffing, and training, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical practice. This is a full-time, on-site role based at SriKamatchi Medical Centre in Thanjavur.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong expertise in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with the ability to manage complex and high-acuity cases.Required qualification MBBS.,MD.,DMCandidates should possess skills in Medical Education and Research to support teaching, training, and evidence-based practice development.Candidates should possess experience in related clinical domains such as Family Medicine and Pediatrics to facilitate holistic and multidisciplinary patient care.Board certification or equivalent specialization in Critical Care Medicine or related field, with substantial leadership experience in an ICU or high-dependency setting.Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, implement clinical protocols, and drive quality and patient safety initiatives.Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to non-discriminatory, patient-centric care.Experience in a tertiary or quaternary care setting and familiarity with advanced diagnostic and monitoring technologies is highly beneficial.
